My Philosophy
Concerning Music Education
My Creed
I believe humans have an innate sense of and aspiration toward beauty, and one of the most encompassing aesthetics of life is music.
I believe human life, in all aspects of life, is embraced by music.
I believe music uniquely reflects the human experience.
I believe all humans can learn to appreciate music.
I believe music is the most graceful and loving ambassador.
I believe music makes hearts all whole.
My Mission
I dedicate my life to the teaching of music education. As a music educator I value literacy, scholarship, and consistency in high caliber work ethic: the nutrients musicians need to grow. In the classroom, on the chancel, and on the stage, I seek to foster an environment of love and acceptance, which is the climate musicians need to grow. At the service of others, I share my musical art—for music is meaningless outside of human existence. And life without music is incomplete.
